Dragon Palace Temple was built back in 1999 with funding from the Ogawa Society, Japan. Today, Dragon Palace serves as the epicentre of Buddhist education and meditation in Nagpur. The historic temple also signifies the friendly relations of both countries. Mrs Sulekha Kumbhare, who was the Mayor at the time, and Mrs Noriko Ogawa primarily envisioned this amazing temple. They gifted it to Nagpur.
